LIONLABS® XBAG
Why is LIONLABS® XBAG kit better than other similar products on the market? Why its fire extinguisher is better than any other fire extinguishers?
The LIONLABS® XBAG kit is a unique and innovative product in the aerospace market. It is the only kit that includes either 2 extinguishers (XBAG 2 x 400ml) or 1 extinguisher (CBAG - 1 x 400ml), a heat-resistant bag for storing damaged electronic devices or batteries, and heat-resistant gloves. Our extinguisher is specially designed to handle class D fires. It uses a water-based biodegradable agent that is non-harmful and does not produce toxic vapors. Unlike Halon extinguishers, our extinguisher is not pressurized and can deliver its full power even when upside down.
Please watch the video demonstrating the functionality of our extinguisher:
The LIONLABS® EXTINGUISHER rapidly cools down burning appliances within 4 seconds, bringing the temperature back to room temperature. This cooling effect is achieved much faster compared to other tested extinguishers as per FAA/TC-13/53. Additionally, our extinguisher is effective in stopping thermal runaway, unlike traditional extinguishers.
Please watch the video of the performance test conducted at ZSW laboratories in Ulm, Germany:
Lastly, the LIONLABS® XBAG Kit is the only kit that fully complies with the recommendations of FAA AC 120-80B and SAFO09013, which advise against moving smoking or burning devices. This distinguishes it from other burn bags available on the market.

Do we need any maintenance regarding the kit?
Can the LIONLABS® XBAG be leased
What will happen if we use the device on board? Will we need to exchange it for another one? Is there a cost involved?
How fast can you exchange the device in case of being used? Can it arrive on the next day?
Why the shelf life is 3 years only, can it be extended for 5 or 6 years?
In case we lease for 6 years but shelf life of the device is 3 years how do you exchange the devices?
What kind of liquid do fire extinguishers contain? Is it poisonous?
If we want to order for the current A/C fleet and later add 1 device for each new A/C, is it possible to do so or do we need to buy and pay in advance (considering when the 3-year option would start counting)?
Have you already encountered a real-life situation where the LIONLABS® XBAG kit was used on board? If yes, could you please share the details?
In case we enter into a cooperation, can we get training devices provided to every base?
What should the training for the device entail? Are there any mandatory requirements or can our airline customize it according to our standards? How do other airlines that have the device train their crew?
Is the product inflammable? Do you have a relevant certificate?
Why is no certification required for LIONLABS® XBAG?
LIONLABS® CBAG
What is the difference between LIONLABS® CBAG and LIONLABS® XBAG?
Our LIONLABS® CBAG is a smaller version of the LIONLABS® XBAG and comes with a special Quick Release Mechanism. It was specifically engineered with a focus on flight deck environments to meet the unique challenges and requirements of aviation. The design takes into account the restricted space, critical nature of flight operations, and the need for fast and precise responses.

Which different options sizes are available for the LIONLABS® LOCKER?
LIONLABS ® LOCKER CORE: Comprehensive fire protection with the proven asecos evacuation and alarm forwarding concept.
LIONLABS ® LOCKER PRO: Enhanced protection for professional handling of lithium-ion batteries, including a 3-stage alarm and active fire suppression system.
LIONLABS ® LOCKER ULTRA: Improved fire protection, active smoke gas management, and advanced monitoring provide safety in sensitive areas with the highest requirements.
The LIONLABS ® LOCKER ULTRA is tested and certified according to the GS principle EK5/AK4 22-01 for the testing and certification of safety cabinets for the active and passive storage of lithium-ion batteries. No matter which security level you choose, all cabinets in the CORE, PRO, and ULTRA model lines offer the fundamental safety features such as internal and external fire protection, smoke detection, alarm forwarding, and evacuability.
For the CORE and PRO models, you also have the choice: If you only want to store batteries in the cabinet, choose the STORE variant. If you want to charge batteries directly in the cabinet, choose the CHARGE variant.
What does the standard equipment of the locker include?
Can it be equipped with a relay module?
Yes - by choosing this option, you opt for alarm differentiation instead of a collective alarm. The module will be installed by the factory or can be retrofitted by asecos experts as a service. It distinguishes four different warning and alarm levels:
1. Warning message when the temperature inside the cabinet exceeds 50 °C
2. Alarm level 1
3. Alarm level 2
4. Power failure
These are transmitted to a central control center via potential-free alarm contacts. By clearly differentiating the alarm states, you can initiate optimally coordinated measures.
Can it be equipped with a telecommunication module?
Yes - the module offers the possibility to forward the collective alarm via the mobile network in the form of SMS/call, making it particularly suitable for businesses and facilities without central building control technology. In case of emergency, immediate alarm will be triggered to one or more defined individuals. The module can be easily installed by the customer via a plug (also suitable for retrofitting) and offers the following functions:
1. Five programmable phone numbers
2. Customizable message texts
3. Collective alarm in case of emergency or network failure
To commission the module, a SIM card is required, which must be provided by the customer. Alternatively, the SIM card included in the scope of delivery can be used, which needs to be activated beforehand via an online portal.

The UN number (see List of UN numbers on Wikipedia) is a four-digit number assigned by the United Nations expert committee for individual dangerous goods. This UN number is also called substance number. In addition to the UN number and the designation and description of the dangerous goods, the dangerous goods database also provides information about which packaging can be used for transport.
